I've been having fun mixing patterns lately. This is something I wore a couple of weeks ago to a party to hang out with some friends. The sheer water color blouse is from Asos...it was actually in the first order I ever made from them last year. I've worn it once or twice before but liked this best. Not super chatty today haha...sooo that's it. xoxo

Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at 9:52 AMI know, I'm the worst right now. First I take forever to post and now it's going to be super short. I got this Asos dress before Christmas and wore it once over the holiday...wasn't exactly in love with how I wore it (just paired the dress with dark denim jeggings) and never really went back to think of a better way to rock it.
This was a few Sunday's ago when I went to brunch with my friend Stretch Armstrong (ha!). Anyhoo...I threw a little white cardigan that I got a few summers ago (can't remember where from) over it and a pair of navy tights. To be very honest, I'm obsessed with obnoxiously large flowers - thanks Rhianna...and basically got dressed around my new blue flower. Major score from Nordstrom Rack in PA. It was orginally $40ish bucks and I paid like $9.

OOTD: Red Rooster
Sunday, February 27, 2011 at 5:19 PMSaturday night I went for a casual dinner at Red Rooster in Harlem for a friend's birthday and this is what I wore. I must admit I was completely exhausted from a long flight the night before and a busy afternoon day of, but I'm so glad that I decided to go. The party was great fun, the food was really good and it was the perfect opportunity to don my Beth Ditto denim skirt from Evans which I've had for a few months but am just now getting around to wearing.
I've owned quite a few denim skirts in my day but this is by far my favorite. There are so many unexpected details and it's SO comfortable. Aside from the very cool zipper down the front, the skirt has a muted floral print, asymmetrical hemline and sweatshirt-esque ribbed waist band. LOVE!
